SCANDAL: concept of "bridge Klitschko" stolen from the Swiss?

The concept and nuances of building a bridge between the Khreshchatyi and Vladimirskaya Gorka parks in Kiev, due to which Mayor Vitali Klitschko is being promoted, are copied from Swiss architects.

This fact was established in the framework of the investigation "Our Nights", reports UAportal.

It is noted that in 2013 the architects of the company "Leuppi & Schafroth Architekten" won (but still have not received) the prize for the project of the bridge.

The winner of the competition was not chosen at that time, although it was with him that they had to conclude an agreement for the implementation and construction of a bridge in Kiev.

In 2017, the Klitschko administration contacted the architects from Switzerland, conducted negotiations, but rejected all offers as too expensive, decided not to build a bridge together and not to buy a project separately.

The KSCA offered only $ 30 thousand (about 800 thousand UAH) for design and documentation, including the amount of the won prize, which was never handed over.

The architects who designed the project have not yet received a penny.

According to their project, the construction was supposed to cost $ 6 million (UAH 160 million), while now a bridge is being built in Kiev for $ 10 million (UAH 260 million).

As can be seen, the difference between the projects is only in the presence of the elevator and the glass elements of the floor covering. The basic concept, form, design principles and design solution are completely copied.

In the autumn of 2017, immediately after negotiations with Switzerland, a tender was held in Kiev to develop a bridge project, won by the company Project Systems Ltd, whose founders are Sergey and Andrey Mirgorodskie.

In total, 12.64 million hryvnias have already been allocated for the project and designer supervision (we will remind that the authors of the original project refused to give more than 800 thousand for this).

Construction was estimated at 255.57 million USD, they are now engaged in the company "Spetsavto-Bud."
